  • 1971 - Tire Flatproofing begins (saving OTR tires from early landfill)
  • 1976 - Carefree tire division created (saving smaller, light duty tires from early landfill)
  • 1994 – ReSeal introduced (saving application-specific tires from early landfill)
  • 1995 - Began offering retrofit pumps versus brand new pumps
  • 1996 – Began IBC (tote) reuse program
  • 1997 – Flushless Two pump introduced (reduce solvent usage/waste)
  • 2001 – Began reusable IBC (tote) and cage program via a third party 2007
  • 2002 – Ultralite™ introduced (saving application-specific tires from early landfill)
  • 2003 – Quikgel® introduced (saving applications specific tires from early landfill)
  • 2004 – New factory purchased (significantly reduced network miles used)
  • 2005 – Retrofit Ohio Factory to produce ecofil®
  • 2006 – ecofil introduced to OEM market (significantly reduced oil and petrochemical usage)
  • 2006 – BioSolv Gold® introduced (reduction of alcohol usage/waste)
  • 2007 – Corporate Green Initiatives formally introduced
  • 2008 – ecofil introduced to aftermarket dealer network
  • 2008 – majority of sales meetings now virtual rather than traveled to
  • 2008 – quarterly customer newsletters now sent electronically
  • 2008 – Company wide Green Initiates formally introduced
  • 2009 – G-cast™ mercury free elastomers introduced
  • 2009 - Green advisory committee officially formalized
  • 2009 – ACP division created to offer products that reduce energy consumption
  • 2009 – American Forests partnership plants over 15,000 tress on behalf of Arnco
  • 2010 – G.E.O (Green Enabling Officer) appointed
  • 2010 – “Green Matters”, comprehensive organizational program established
  • 2010 – ecofil product line saves 16,000 barrels of oil and petrochemicals saved
